Q: How do I get a user name and password to access the site?

A:

When you register and pay for an eRider® Motorcyclist Training Course (MTC), you will receive a confirmation with a unique link to access the site.

Q: eRider won't work on my computer or device. What can I do?

A:

In most cases, a "hard refresh" of the browser will solve the problem. On a Windows device, use Cntl+F5. On a Mac, use Cmd+shift+R.

Troubleshooting steps:

1. Hard browser refresh: Cntl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
2. Switch to a different browser.

Do not move on to the next steps until you have tried steps 1 and 2 without success.

3. Save and Exit, restart computer and try 1-2 again.
4. Save and Exit, clear browsing history and cache.
5. Restart computer and try 1-2 again.
6. Save and Exit, update operating system, browser and Java.
7. Restart computer and try 1-2 again.
8. Switch devices.

Q: My account has been locked. How do I get back in?

A:

Contact your training school by phone or e-mail. Refer to your confirmation or use the CMSP state directory.

Q: I can't view an eRider video. How can I fix this?

A:

Q: How do I prove I’ve completed the online classroom?

A:

At the end of Chapter 6, your report card verifying completion will be e-mailed to you. Present the report card to your instructor at the range.

When you successfully complete all six chapters, your student record will be updated and the sponsor will issue your completion card after you successfully complete the riding sessions and skill test.

Q: I did not receive a passing score on the quizzes. Do I need to take the classroom again?

A:

If you completed eRider before your last day of class, you are allowed one retest after you complete the riding sessions. Contact your course sponsor before attempting the retest.

If you completed eRider after the deadline of midnight on your last day of class, your score counts as your retest and final score.

Q: I need an accommodation related to a disability. What do I do?

A:

Q: When will I get my completion card?

A:

After you have successfully completed all classroom and riding (range) sessions, the course sponsor will mail your completion card within 10 business days.
